Ahl Sina was founded by “Moustafa Troll” in the Sinai Peninsula, and expanded in 2009 from Cairo. Troll wrote the story of their first album (Troops Of Pain) and contacted his best friend/music mate, Shung, to complete the present and future vision for the band.

Ahl Sina applies melody and atmosphere to Oriental extreme music, and features three instruments atypical of metal: the ney flute, various percussion and violin. Since 2014, the band has collaborated across the world via the internet to produce and record all material.

Their debut album was recorded between Egypt, Germany and the USA.
