ARTIZEN began its journey on a rooftop.

In the springtime sun of 2015, singer/songwriter Danny Glynn and multi-instrumentalist James Hendrix climbed a ladder in Alpharetta, Georgia in search of new perspective and a momentary reprieve from the day. They spoke of rising political tensions, the balances of wealth and power, of love, of friends, and of the future of the world. Together they made a pact:

To inspire positive change, however possible. As musicians and friends, the two became determined to start a creative project built on love and freedom– thus, Artizen was born.
